Altona Netball Association operates two seasons each year for both junior and senior competitions - February to July, and August to December. Junior competitions are aligned with school terms, while senior competitions continue through school holiday periods.

For 2026, the season will commence on Tuesday 27 January and run through to July across all competition days.
