Altona Netball Association is proud to provide a strong representative pathway through its connection with the City West Falcons. The Falcons are one of only a select number of clubs competing in the Victorian Netball League (VNL) and are widely recognised as the most successful club in the competition’s history since its inception. The VNL is regarded as one of the strongest and most professional state netball competitions in the world, serving as a key pathway to the Australian Netball Championships (ANC) and Suncorp Super Netball.

The City West Falcons compete across two divisions - Championship and 23 & Under - providing opportunities for athletes to perform at an elite level. In addition, the program includes development squads designed to identify and nurture emerging talent, supporting athletes as they transition into VNL competition.

Through this partnership, Altona players have access to a clear and supported pathway into high-performance netball, with the Falcons regularly offering scholarship opportunities to selected athletes. This connection reflects Altona’s commitment to developing players and providing opportunities to progress from grassroots netball through to the highest levels of the sport.
